This Retailer Onboarding Agreement (“Agreement”) applies to businesses (“Retailer”, “you”, or “your”) registering to publish promotional offers on InStoreOnly.com.au (“InStoreOnly”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By creating a Retailer account or publishing an offer, you agree to these terms.
- Platform Role
InStoreOnly.com.au is a promotional advertising platform designed to help retailers attract customers into physical store locations through short-term in-store offers.
InStoreOnly:
- does not sell your products
• does not process customer payments
• does not act as your agent
• does not guarantee customer traffic
You remain solely responsible for your offers.
- Eligibility to Register
By registering, you confirm that:
- you are authorised to represent the business listed
• business details provided are accurate
• you have permission to publish promotional offers
• your business complies with applicable Australian laws
- Pilot Launch Participation (Where Applicable)
During launch-stage rollout:
- participation may be limited by suburb or region
• listings may be selectively approved
• placement visibility may vary
Pilot participation does not guarantee ongoing placement.
- Retailer Responsibilities
You agree to ensure:
- all offers are accurate
• pricing is genuine
• expiry dates are correct
• availability conditions are stated clearly
• store staff are aware of active offers
• promotions comply with Australian Consumer Law
You agree to honour all published offers during their stated validity period, subject to clearly disclosed limits.
- Limited Quantity Offers
Where quantity limits apply, you must state them clearly.
Example:
First 25 customers only
Offers described only as “limited stock” may be removed.
If allocation is exhausted early, you agree to update or remove the listing promptly.
- Offer Location Requirements
Offers must:
- be redeemable in-store
• apply at the listed store address
• be available during stated trading hours
Online-only promotions are not permitted unless approved.
- Staff Awareness Requirement
You agree to ensure store staff are informed about active InStoreOnly promotions before they go live.
Repeated customer complaints about staff being unaware of offers may result in listing removal.
- Pricing Integrity
You confirm that:
- advertised discounts are genuine
• “was” prices reflect real previous pricing
• percentage discounts are accurate
• no misleading claims are included
Offers must comply with Australian Consumer Law.
- Updating or Removing Listings
You agree to update or remove listings if:
- stock becomes unavailable
• trading conditions change
• pricing errors occur
• the promotion ends early
- Customer Experience Expectations
Retailers agree to make reasonable efforts to ensure customers redeeming offers:
- are treated fairly
• receive the advertised promotion
• are not subject to undisclosed conditions
InStoreOnly may suspend Retailers who generate repeated complaints.
- Retailer Content Permission
By submitting listings, you grant InStoreOnly permission to:
- publish your offer
• display your business name
• display your store address
• promote your listing across marketing channels
• include your offer in suburb-based launch promotions
You retain ownership of your business information.
- Platform Moderation Rights
InStoreOnly may:
- edit listing formatting
• correct obvious spelling errors
• remove unclear listings
• suspend retailer accounts
• remove misleading promotions
where necessary to maintain platform quality.
- Fees (If Applicable)
Where listing fees apply:
- fees relate to advertising placement only
• fees do not guarantee customer visits
• fees are non-refundable once a listing is live
Pilot launch offers may be provided free of charge.
- No Guarantee of Traffic
InStoreOnly promotes retailer offers but does not guarantee:
- customer visits
• redemption volumes
• sales outcomes
• listing visibility levels
- Compliance With Laws
You agree to comply with:
- Australian Consumer Law
• pricing regulations
• licensing obligations
• local trading regulations
Retailers remain responsible for legal compliance of their promotions.
- Account Suspension or Removal
We may suspend or remove retailer accounts where:
- offers are misleading
• promotions are not honoured
• repeated complaints occur
• platform rules are breached
Removal may occur without notice where necessary.
