What’s on at Manly Lawn Tennis Club – Manly NSW

Manly Lawn Tennis Club traces its history back to 1883 at the same Ivanhoe Park site, on the corner of Belgrave and Raglan Streets in Manly. Its Manly Seaside Championships was once the first tournament of the Australian tennis season, and past winners include Ken Rosewall, Lew Hoad, Rod Laver and Evonne Goolagong. The tournament is still an important part of the Australian satellite tennis circuit.

Members enjoy organised social tennis on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday afternoons, and they can bring guests to enjoy the club’s hospitality and facilities. Visitors who are intermediate or advanced players are welcome at mixed social sessions outside the April to September competition season. Courts can be hired, and private coaching, adult squads and afterschool squads can be booked.
