Basic Information
Habitat Pet Supplies is an independent, Australian family-owned pet supplies company founded in 2012, when co-founders Dean and Rachelle opened their very first store in Chirnside Park. Rachelle came from buying for one of Australia’s leading fashion retailers, while Dean has worked with pets his whole life, learning the ropes at his uncle’s pet store – together creating ‘a pet store with a stylish difference’. Habitat stocks what it calls the best bowls, toys, collars, treats and pet food it can find.
The Burwood store trades from 142 Highbury Road. Habitat says its team brings decades of industry experience and a commitment to customer service and advice, and that pets are more than welcome in store – offered free treats and plenty of pats. The chain also sells online Australia-wide.
